The members of the Sally Amato Opera Guild are dedicated to sharing an in-depth understanding and enjoyment of opera. Meetings are held in conjunction with four special opera programs presented by the Amato Opera Theatre. During this season, members receive Operalog, a provocative and informative newsletter that presentes thoughtful analyses of the seasons's operatic presentations and keeps you up-to-date with Amato activites. Guild members are also invited to attend rehearsals.
All of this for an affordable $50 per year - $90 for families! And, as Tony says, "See you at the Opera!" - Corinta Kotula, President.

It has also presented rarely performed works, including Verdi's I Due Foscari, Giordano's La Cena delle Beffe, Ricci's Crispino e la Comare, and American premieres of Verdi's Oberto, Alzira, Aroldo, Un Giorno di Regno and La Battaglia di Legnano, Gomes' Salvator Rosa and Boito's Nerone, and the world premiere of Kalmanoff's Empty Bottle.
* By means of Anthony Amato's Operas-in-Brief -- first performed at Town Hall and currently, in schools, parks and community centers -- it has made its unique contribution to the field of education.
